Best Twin Stroller For Newborns

If you're expecting twins or two children that are close in age the double stroller is essential. The best strollers offer numerous ways for your children to ride, including side-by-side seating and the ability to attach a rider's board.

The Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono is Lauren Ro's favourite stroller. It can adapt to the needs of your family seamlessly. It can fit two infant car seats and a toddler car seat which makes it a great option for twins starting at birth.

Bugaboo Donkey

This is the ideal double stroller for families who are looking for a stylish, side-byside double stroller. It's a bit bigger than other Bugaboo strollers, but it feels solid and built to last. It has an adjustable handlebar that can be extended and retracted easily. It also has a fantastic reach, making it easy for my 6'1 husband to push, even when fully loaded.

The seats are spacious and can be placed to place one child behind the other or to have children face each one. The seats can recline independently of each other. The canopies cover both fabric seats, if desired. However, they don't provide much ventilation so they can feel like a small oven on hot days. There's no way to see your kids.

This stroller has a unique feature that lets it expand with you and your family.  double pushchair  can go from a single seat (Mono Mode) to the double side by side stroller. It is the only double stroller convertible to do this. It can even be used in conjunction with an additional bassinet or car seat for babies.

It is easy to maneuver on smooth surfaces and can handle slopes and steps with ease. It can be a challenge to maneuver through crowded restaurants and shops. It is also difficult to fold up, especially when seats are connected. It's still pretty compact though, and it does fit through most doors easily.

There is an additional storage bin that fits on the frame, next to the front seat in mono mode. This is ideal for shopping and other items. The main storage basket underneath the seats is massive and can accommodate up to 100 pounds which is more than any other stroller on this list!

Uppababy Vista V2

This stroller is among the best twin strollers for newborns. It is compatible with a variety of infant car seats and bassinets (adapters sold separately) and can be used as a double stroller right out of the box. It can even accommodate two infant car seats or bassets simultaneously when you purchase the Vista Upper and Lower adapters.

In comparison to the original Vista, The V2 has added a few enhancements to make it better. The toddler seat is now raised by half an inch, the footrest is larger, and the canopy is an extra fabric extension that zips out. The harness has been updated in that it does not require re-threading. This makes it easier to adjust.

The stroller is fairly large wheels (8'' in front and 11.5'' in the back) with a sturdy suspension, so it is able to handle a variety of terrain. The front wheels are rubber which makes them suitable for navigating rocks, gravel and cobblestones. The rear wheels have more tread to conquer grassy hills and sidewalks.

Another great feature is the possibility to connect a child's bicycle to the front of the stroller, which can be a handy option for those who aren't keen on using an infant car seat or Rumbleseat. And if you have an older child who is ready to stand and walk, the Vista can even fit the third child using its piggyback ride along board.

The Vista is simple to use and set up, though it does take some time to remove all of the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow and there is also an YouTube video available if you need more help.

Thule Urban Glide 3

The Thule Urban Glide 3 stroller is the latest version of the popular all-terrain stroller. It's designed for families who appreciate style, sustainability, and adventure. It features exciting improvements such as a built-in foot rest and a new reclined seat that promises the best comfort for children on long jogging and walks. Its sleek, agile design increases its maneuverability.

It is extremely light, making it easy to drive and swift to accelerate on the open road. Its suspension is able to handle abrupt changes in surface (like pavement to grass) easily and the oversized wheels provide ample traction even on the most difficult terrain. It's able to climb kerbs and turn in tight spaces, like city streets.  Get the facts 's even a breeze to navigate narrow sidewalks and crowded parks.

While the new Urban Glide 3 offers superior performance, it retains the classic Thule qualities that make it an ideal jogger for parents. The huge canopy offers great sun protection, an easy peekaboo, a high quality harness system and a handbrake that's perfectly tuned. It also comes with plenty of storage, including in-seat storage pockets as well as a large cargo basket that holds up to 15 pounds and comes with the zip-top cover.

This Thule Jogger also comes with bassinets, ideal for strolling newborns and a double model to accommodate two children. It accepts car seat adapters, so you can use the infant carrier of your child, and it features a simple one-handed fold to make it easy to carry or put away. It's also a green choice that uses solution-dyed fabrics in its black colors to reduce the use of water.

Cortina Together

Cortina Together is designed for families that are growing and offers parents a variety of seating options to accommodate the needs and preferences of each child. The double stroller's standard stroller seats come with reclining backrests as well as independent canopy. They're also engineered to accept one of Chicco's top-rated KeyFit or KeyFit 30 infant car seats in the front and rear seat (car seat sold separately) using the exclusive click-in attachment, without the need for adding straps and bars, as other models that require.

A large, zip-up basket in the rear offers ample storage space for the gear. The handle is padded to allow for dad or mom. The tandem double stroller's wheels and suspension ensure a smooth ride on all types of terrain, and the one-touch linked rear brakes with toe-tap activation makes stopping easy.

In our Strollers & Multiples laboratory tests, Cortina Together received high scores for its ease of use. This metric is based on the ease with which it is for you to fold and set up the stroller. It also reflects how easy it is for you to open and close the snack tray, engage and disengage brakes, raise the stroller when folded and then carry it as if it were a trunk.

This model isn't perfect. First, it's heavy. It weighs in at 36.6 pounds when fully loaded, which is closer to the extreme side of our metric, and is heavier than the average for this category of strollers. It also has limited visibility when a car seat is placed in the rear. Additionally, the front tray release is sometimes difficult to operate, particularly after long-term use. Despite these issues, we think that this is a great stroller for your family.

Jeep Double Stroller

Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller - A lightweight, budget-friendly stroller that is ideal for families with two children. The front swivel-lock wheels turn to allow it to be maneuvered on flat surfaces and ensure stability on bumpy surfaces which makes it easy to travel wherever you'd like to go. It also has an umbrella fold that can be closed in a matter of seconds, and it stands upright for easy transportation. Its lightweight aluminum frame along with the foam handles and carrying strap make it one of the easiest to lift double strollers that we have tested.

This stroller has independent reclining seats to ensure maximum comfort. Its large canopy can offer UPF 50 sun protection. It includes a peekaboo window for easy monitoring. We would like to have the canopy vented for more airflow. We also didn't love that the cup holder sits quite high on the frame, which means you'll need to bend down to access it.

In our test of tipping, the Jeep fell over at a 39-degree angle, which is above average for a double stroller. It's also a little heavier than our top picks but it does provide a decent amount of storage space for the price and comes with ample padding in the seats and handle.

This versatile stroller has three modes: wagon (just for things) and the jogger (with two 5-point safety harnesses for kids) and car seat mode. It can accommodate one infant car seat, but pediatricians recommend waiting until your child is 6 months old before jogging with them and one year old before letting them go on rough terrain. It comes in black and has a limited lifetime warranty.
